Position: Environmental Scientist

Location: Northern Ireland, Ireland, Great Britain

We currently have a number of exciting opportunities for Environmental Scientists to join our teams based in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This role involves working on oil pollution and contaminated land investigations and is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to develop their project management and technical experience.

The successful candidate must have a science based degree, at least 2 years relevant industry experience, a knowledge of Phase I and II site investigations and knowledge of remediation techniques and their application.  You will need to be motivated, have good organisational and problem-solving skills, sound commercial awareness with an understanding of project budgets and timelines.  This position requires the ability to interact with other members of a multi-disciplinary team as well as professional clients, sub-contractors and members of the public.

A full UK/EU driving licence is essential for this role.

 

Position: Senior Environmental Scientist

Location: Northern Ireland, Ireland, Great Britain

We have a an exciting opportunities for a Senior Environmental Scientists to be based in our Northern Ireland office.

This role involves working on oil pollution and contaminated land investigations and delivery of innovative remedial solutions to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to develop their project-management and technical experience. The main responsibilities of this role will include:

Position: Civil and Site Operatives

Location: Northern Ireland, Ireland, Great Britain

We require experienced Civils Operatives/General Builders to work on a number of construction, civils and decontamination sites throughout Northern Ireland, Ireland, Great Britain.  Candidates should be experienced in all aspects of brickwork, drainage, block and brickwork, concrete laying and hard and soft landscaping.  Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away overnight is essential as is the ability to work to timescales and create a favorable impression as the companies representative.

Position: Remediation Engineer

Location: Northern Ireland, Ireland, Great Britain

We are looking for an experienced remediation engineers to be based from our offices in Ireland to provide field based support to our regional oil spill remediation team.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

•    Groundwater treatment systems and pump technology, chemical oxidation of contaminants, soil vapor extraction, LNAPL recovery
•    Hands on site works, system design and installation
•    Pipework installation and assembling remediation systems
•    Good knowledge of in-site and ex-situ remediation techniques
•    Site work and supervising contractors
•    Collecting remediation system performance data
•    Plant and equipment maintenance
•    Keeping the site health and safety file up to date

Requirements:
•    2-10 years experience in a relevant discipline
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Understanding of mechanical and electrical installations
•    Understanding of process flow engineering, electrical installations and any relevant certificates or qualifications would be advantageous
•    Familiar with working on remote sites
•    Flexibility with working hours – the nature of the role will dictate potential early starts and being away from home on an occasional basis.
•    A full driving licence is essential
